After last night watching Guu and MariMite (which I actually really like!), today was
Today was off of real work, but I had picked up a shift at Path, so I went in and played with the Shugosei in 17. My babies in D are getting all growed up and stand-off-ish. ;_; And Olivie kept trying to jump off the water thing once I refilled it and making a royal mess. Clavis still beats the crud out of Zephel at every opportunity though, and I'm tempted to lock him in an empty pen while I clean just to give the kid a break. Of course, I also got to see Atobe, Sanada and Zia in 15. <3 It's clear KA really has been spoiling them rotten though, because they're all getting /fat/. Of course when I told Keigo as much the little diva sunk his claws into my shoulder, and I was none too pleased. :3
I also spent part of the morning figuring out what's wrong with Yukimura-bucho. The answer, according to an insert in Vol. 27 says that he does not - in fact - have Guillian Barre Syndrome, and Konomi-sensei appologizes for the misunderstanding that made it appear that he did. Guillian Barre is not curable with surgery, the insert states, but it does not infact say what Yukimura /is/ affected by.

ladyofthegate. Which we did... and it was /oh/ so good. It was beautifully animated for it's time, with beautiful art, a bitter-sweet plot in a fantastically rich sci-fi setting, and a cast of real old-schoolers that was just to die for. I had had vague expectations from the amvs we saw at YCon... but it blew away all my expectations. It was so exquisitely painful... It killed me. So we needed something happy to revive us, or at least I did.
I was thinking Weiss Glühen in lead up to our BtRW plot eventually, but sincejenshin is only around for a little while longer, I wanted to show her Fafner... so we did that instead of anything actually fluffy. After two episodes of Fafner, I'm in awe of all the little things that they put in right from the get-go. And all the things/people who are in the opening even though you don't know them yet. And Sakura, and Kouyou... and Shouko. Oh Shouko. I want others to see it so I can share my thoughts... mostly on Soushi, and also on Maya.... because... *rambles on and on*
So that was my day... (appologies for many many lj-cuts. XD
Now I shall sleep and go in nicely rested for the Truck tomorrow at JoAnn. I really hope someone got notions stocked today, otherwise this week will suck for stocking. (But Michelle is back tomorrow! Yays!)
