The final days...

I go away for days, come back and what? No one's online, nothing too atrociaously bad had happened on LJ and the most important emails in my inbox were replies to LJ comments.
Today was the last of our days of spending lots of money. Tomorrow and saturday are calm, cheap, packing days.
I'm currently pretending reality doesn't exist. I need to send not one but two boxes home this week (granted one is for Corina, and thus not /really/ my money)... and I don't even know how much money is in my checking account back home. Even with that box (full of manga, two pillows and some clothes), I don't really know how everything will get into my bags.
As long as I live moment to moment, I'm fine. Today was wonderful. We headed out in the morning with [profile] timinjapan to Osaka. We first hit the Umeda/Osaka Mandarake (walked from Yodoyobashi! We /OWN/ Osaka! *bwahahaha*)... for a final check on our hoshigateirumono and so I could sell back some stuff that [profile] reieien had to leave behind. I got very little money for some very expensive items (*mad*) and they didn't want any of the manga... or my really crappy doujin. Not only that, but a fangirl got there right before me and picked up /every/ volume of HaruDaki in the store. *sad*
The store had little new since our last visit, but I did get the "Catch You, Catch Me" single for hyaku-en. And I got to watch Nao-kun-related merchandise throwing itself at Kat. (And made her buy Canna Nobutoshi's album, which she seems to be enjoying.)
From there we walked (above ground!) to Osaka JR eki and took the train to Namba. We hit the BookOff to sell off the manga Mandarake wouldn't buy. Again, very little money recieved. ;_;
From then until about 6 PM, we went to karaoke. [Unknown site tag] and I found a place yesterday between DenDen Town and Shinsaibashi that has nomihoudai free time from opening to 7 PM for 600 yen. So we drank lots of tea and coffee and sang karaoke on a lovely, lovely Hyperjoy machine for about 4 hours. ^_^
Around 6:30, we left and headed into Shinsaibashi for dinner at "Sweets Paradise" (a desert viking shop). We had 90 minutes... We barely lasted 60. But it was /so/ good. And we found the place where we're taking Kat's parents, and plotted to steal her little brother away if he isn't too jetlagged.
We also stopped into the Shinsaibashi BookOff, where I completed my sets of Kizuna and FAKE manga... but didn't buy any of the many other things that I wanted. I felt very... strange after that. Like all my walls and censors were gone. My mental sanctuaries were exhausted... and I had no idea what to do to fix them.
This was not helped much by the return trip. On the way home, the train from Kyobashi was /packed/... litterally, worse than Tokyo subways were when I rode them. ^_^
Also on the way home, we relized that neither of us had our keys. So we stood outside of seminar house and pondered climbing the gate for about 40 minutes until nearly midnight. At that point I discovered (in attempting to prove it useless) that I could wedge my hand between the bars and unlock the gate. From there it was a simple matter of knocking on a window until a nice person let us in. ^_^
We watched a bit of a movie with Maryanne and Sean and when that was over I dragged the PS2 down and watched more of the Weiss "In Flames" DVD. It's fun... in that Weiss way that I feel really embarassed subjecting others to. ~_~
Then Kat came down and we skipped around on the NeoRoma Spring 2003 DVD. Morikawa Toshiyuki is /so/ amazing live... I love him. And Nao-kun, of course. And Narita Ken... and Narita Ken making Kenyu-san put effort into singing.

Yesterday didn't really exist. But it was pretty awsome anyway. Waking up this morning was hard... and I can't look at my wall anymore.
Highlights from 26 May 2004:
*Clavis single for free (Yay BookOff cupons!)
*B-saizu
*Ernst Keychain
*"Hey that karaoke place has Hyperjoy machines!"
"Really?"
"Yep. See that banner? Their prices are pretty good too..."
...After food...Mmm Wendy's...
"So karaoke?"
"Sure, why not?"
*A bishounen sleeping on my shoulder on the train (sadly, I was nearly asleep myself, so I don't remember, but Kat says so).
*Lots of chocolate and tea... and new Nao-kun... that I /own/.

So I'm off to seek out some fic and get some sleep... since these things are safe from worry and the uneasy twisting in my gut.
