The things you miss by living in America...
OK, so this morning was early, but not too bad. I followed mom down to Windsor and I got to see Arella. She's doing well, it seems, so that was a comfort. I might get to see her again next week as well.
On the way home I stopped by Marshak's and got my Newtype for November '03, hense the title.
Back at home, I worked on The Wig some more and then looked through said Newtype.
It was when I set it down with the back cover up that I finnaly noticed. The cover was pure white, with three lines of text: 坂本真綾、少年アリス、２００３年１２月１０日. (Trans: Sakamoto Maaya, Shounen Alice, 12-10-2003) So I went and looked it up... indeed. New album. /Real/ album, not just a compilation like Hotchpotch. The first new album, infact, since Easy Listening... /And/ she also made a mini-movie, "O3-Cross". The trailer for it is HERE.
It looks really cool, and artsy... it has Yoko Kanno writen all over it if you ask me... even though her name was only in the credits for music. ^_^
There were 10 full pages for GundamSEED in addition to a poster, a mini-poster, postcards, stickers and cards. I was also inspired to make my first background... which turned out ok.
There was also a lot of sqeeling over the Onmyouji II article,
I'm still in the midst of wading through everything, so I'll have more notes later, tabum.
